  • CAAMS is an NSF research center where leading universities, industry, and government members collaborate to conduct research.

  • CAAMS involves 6 universities and roughly 20 different government and industry organizations.

  • We conduct innovative research in the air mobility & sensing field.

  • Research efforts are possible through funding from NSF and our government/industry members. The funding is used to support research conducted at each of the universities.

  • Twice a year in February and August we hold an Industry Advisory Board (IAB) meeting.

  • The location of each IAB meeting changes and will be hosted by a member of CAAMS or at one of the universities.

  • There are 5 main benefits from joining: research, recruiting, relationships, resources, and leveraging.

    RESEARCH: Select and direct projects with complete access to center research and intellectual property.

    RECRUITING: Connect with students who are gaining world-class training in the multidisciplinary aspects of air mobility & sensing.

    RESOURCES: Access top university researchers tools, and facilities.

    LEVERAGING: By combining funds from NSF and members, along with reduced overhead from universities, members get access to millions of dollars of research.
